Dora Wallace is an adult survivor of childhood abuse, physical, sexual and emotional. Here she tells the stories of her childhood and adulthood both in writing and video.

“Overcoming the past is scary. Learning to cope with life not being what I dreamed it would be can be frightening. It is scary, because I have to dive in head first and face the past and who I am in the present. Living through trauma is hard, reliving it in order to prosper as an adult can be miserable. The end result after a breakthrough though, it is beautiful and it is healing.”
